Status Defined
Student: Must be currently enrolled in AIB classes.
Employee: Faculty, staff, and retired employees.
Alumni: Graduate of AIB. Must have verification of enrollment from the alumni office.
Corporate/Community: Members of corporations or community members. If your corporation is interested in a group membership, please contact the Activities Center office (515) 246-5416.
 
 
 
 
   
Membership Guidelines
  • No Stereos are Allowed.
  • Clean gym shoes only are permitted on the gym floor.
  • Softball and baseballs are not allowed.
  • No misuse of the Facility and/or equipment.
  • Do not leave items in an unlocked locker.  AIB is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • People 16 years of age and younger are not allowed in the fitness center without supervision of someone 18 years of age or older.
  • Proper workout attire is required.  A shirt and shoes must be worn at all times.
  • Horseplay is not tolerated.
  • Follow appropriate etiquette; demonstrate courtesy towards all others using the Facility.
  • Clean equipment after you are finished using it.
  • Always replace equipment and weights back to where you found them.
  • No bikes or rollerblades.
 
Guest Pass Policy*
A guest pass entitiles you full access to gym floor, fitness center, running track, and locker rooms.  Guest passes are only valid for one day.
 
In order for you to be a guest, you must have an AIB employee, AIB student, or public memberbe your sponsor.  If you are not affliated with an AIB employee, AIB student, or a public member, you must buy a full membership in order to use the facility.
 
AIB students and AIB employees are allowed one FREE guest per visit and they can sponsor additional guests for $5 each.
 
All guest(s) of a public member must buy a guest pass for $5. 
 
The AIB student, AIB employe, or public member must be present the entire time the guest is using the facility.  As a sponsor of a guest, you must sign a waiver each visit stating you take responsibility for all actions, risks, and damages of the guest(s).
